These three simple words are core to success in any MLM home business. Working at home can be a challenge – the kids are running around, the dog needs to go out, and the cat needs to be fed. Yeah, there’s a whole lot more too. Recently, a mentor of mine asked me if what I was doing right then and there was contributing to my bottom line. That is profound. Think about it. If you’re responsible for starting/maintaining/growing a business, you have to think like a businessperson. Sure, you’re being pulled every which way. But you have to be responsible for your business or you’ll never make it. It seems trite but these three simple words sum it up. Enjoy the video! But wait, there’s more…! What do you say??? I needed some income, since I was a starving musician. It turned out to be an encyclopedia company (the best one, by the way). I said to myself “I can do this” so I signed up and was trained by one of the best people in the direct sales industry that I have ever met. I soon found myself out on the road, after having lined up appointments for the day, and giving presentations. In a few months I had sold 23 sets of books. They said it was great. I thought that it was miserable. Well, it’s not quite as “easy” as it sounds. Pursuing this principle requires focus, persistence, and practice. The single initial factor that makes it a little challenging is the first part of the definition above (and I will stick with the “simple” definition for added poignancy) – consistent and dominant thoughts. Everyone in this world has (obviously) grown up based on the way they were raised. Most people, whether they are aware of it or not  The team holds the key to, What do you do? When I began my foray into the network marketing industry, the people I met who were already involved described it as the best and most lucrative industry to be in. Each individual felt that their MLM opportunity was the best and most rewarding company to align with. As it turn out, only a small number of companies in the network marketing industry actually provide what most are looking for. Certainly, a larger number do not. Unfortunately, I believe the industry has been its own worst enemy by way of portraying their products, companies, and ease of success in light of only a small number of successful individuals. With all that, think about how YOU would answer the question: “What do you do?” Here is the problem… I sat with big-league network marketer, Bill Constain for some quick MLM training at a network marketing industry event this weekend. Bill creates an analogy regarding attraction marketing. Do you attract folks to you that you want to do business with, the main principle behind attraction marketing, or, conversely, do you attract people who either you would rather not do business with, who would not be good in your business, or who is not interested in your business? Watch this video to see if you can relate. If you find yourself swimming with the sharks, you have to ask yourself… So, you’ve decided to research one of the true experts in the network marketing industry. Wise decision. Tom “Big Al” Schreiter has been a giant in this industry for over 35 years. His journey into the network marketing industry began in the early 70’s with the first few years being a rough go of it and full of roadblocks. However, it wasn’t long before he was able to break through and become an expert on nearly every aspect of network marketing. Alright, we are off to a good start but I’m curious, dear reader, what actually brought you here today? So lets focus…Are you looking for a mentor?  Don Miguel Ruiz: Author of The Four Agreements and The Fifth Agreement Since then, I have had the fortune to discover some of Don Miguel Ruiz’s other books, The Voice of Knowledge and The Fifth Agreement, which was co-written with his son, Don Jose. These two Toltec warriors have a wonderful message to deliver to us and it will serve you throughout your life if you really embrace the teachings. Most of the success coaches – my gurus – who I have had in my life I have personally known or met at a training event. They give me hugs and hands-on knowledge that I can take with me and incorporate into my life’s pursuit. I have not had the fortune of meeting Don Miguel Ruiz or his son yet.  A God That Loves MLM - Gregg Braden Connects The Dots... Hey, I’m the MLM Mobster; I don’t thump bibles. But I’m passionate about belief with a capital B. If your head isn’t buried in the sand, you know that your MLM success depends on unshakable belief. In what? Your product or service, your company, the network marketing industry, and yourself. Eliminate one of those, and you’re out of the game. It’s no joke when they say that Network Marketing is a personal development program with a compensation plan. It makes perfect sense. You won’t get rich if you don’t grow. And you won’t grow if you don’t examine, challenge, and strengthen your beliefs. Gregg Braden is a master at reframing and transforming beliefs. This guy is way ahead of the herd. To say that he gets the big picture is an understatement. He’s a man with a vision you definitely want to see. His book, The Divine Matrix, is inspiring and life changing.
