What is my “Why”?

What is my "Why"?

What is my "Why"?

To be successful at anything we must have a really great reason for doing it. To be successful we need vision, passion, motivation, focus and . Without these key elements we will not find success in what we put our minds to, or very limited success at a best. Yet, we have to find these keys within ourselves. No one can put them into you, and no one can do these things, or feel these things, for you. If we are lucky enough, we can find someone like Drew who is capable of helping us find these keys. A mentor is a great asset in our in business and life, but the real work comes for each of us individually doing our thing. So the big question is, how do we find these ? The is ‘why are we doing what we are doing’?

A Good Team Makes All The Difference

A Good Team Makes All The Difference

My name is Al and I am self-employed. I have been an entrepreneur in the home business for over 15 years. I have had the pleasure of experiencing the growth of my company in all but 1 year of its existence (I bet you can guess what year that was!).

Needless to say, the experience of the past year has been a bit unsettling. Being an entrepreneur I began to investigate other ways to supplement (or even replace) my income. It seemed as if the “traditional or usual” way to earn an income had been compromised enough (at least for the time being) to send me searching for a better way.

So I stumbled into network marketing. A friend of a friend was talking about this great new product and how we are going to make a ton of money off of it, so naturally I was intrigued. Intrigued enough that I signed up (along with a few of my friends in that social network).

It was a pretty good product. It was a great business model and compensation plan. After learning the business and getting my feet wet over the next couple months I found that I had little knowledge of what network marketing really consisted of. I had several pre-conceived notions that now seemed silly. What thrilled me the most was the idea of an actual, sustainable . But after being involved in this particular company for the time that I was, I came to realize that there was a major piece of this puzzle missing. A piece that was big enough to sabotage any chance of any residual (or current for that matter) income. Of all the people I knew and was working with in this company there was never any real focus or game-plan or goals.

Turn That Frown Upside Down!

It is natural to feel blue – having a low – from time to time. There are a number of reasons for this and this is not to minimize those feelings. It’s easy to get lost in the emotional vibrations that exist around us and be easily consumed by it. Understand, however, that you can control how you are feeling and you can change that feeling of emptiness by, first, being aware of your and, second, changing it.

I recently read a blog by Sherry Rogers that suggested that by identifying the thoughts that are creating a certain level of feeling – good or bad – they can be recalled and replaced. Some people find that in playing a certain song when they’re feeling down, they relive happy thoughts from days gone by and that, indeed, lifts their spirits. This is a perfect example of how thoughts can improve your emotional vibration. The same can be achieved by watching a , smelling a fresh-baked apple pie, recalling the feelings associated to a success, the birth of a child/children, or even a simple, happy time. The trigger is less important than the associated thoughts and feelings.

The Good Life

Every season I try to buy a Life is Good t-shirt.  I love ‘em.  And, I live it by osmosis.  What you focus on expands.  I am focused on not only having a good life, not only having a great life, actually, but helping others have a great life too.  Most people don’t realize that if they are holding on so dearly to a good life that they forget the GREAT life is within reach.

You see, network marketing can give someone a good life and can help people have a great life.  As you know, I moved my family from Manhattan to Ridgefield, Connecticut; with a 4 1/2 year old and a 9-month-pregnant wife.  How would I have done it with a regular 9-to-5 office job (or more commonly, an 8-to-6)?  In moving and unpacking hundreds of boxes, I’ve also been able to have some fun too.  I’m all about .  Yes, our products are amazing and, yes, the money is great.  But what about the ???

What’s Your Exit Strategy?

Temper Tantrums At Any Age!? What’s the best way to break a friend’s career temper tantrum, especially now that there aren’t any old-school options out there for them anymore? You know the type. They are right at that struggling age:  too young to retire, too old for a cut/dry .  What could you possibly suggest as a suitable career option?

In the past, friends have been downsized, laid off, quit, changed jobs, or simply stayed in the same place for the last 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 years.  Whether brought on by their loyal employer who gave them the boot after years of service and dedication or brought upon by themselves after never having any “real” time or financial freedom, they need a solution NOW.  What advice do you give?

Go out and just find a new Just Over Broke (JOB) that pays a little more and has an extra week of vacation?  Go for it and change careers?  How easy is it to do that these days and who really wants to be in another corporate pyramid?  How about investing some money?  Is that safe?  Who would they trust?  Become a dealer?  There’s the whole law thing with cops, lawyers and jail… Is it worth it?  How about inventing something everyone needs, build it, warehouse it, market it, sell it, deliver it, support it, etc… How long would that take and how much money?  Do they have a green thumb?  Maybe they should get more and grow more red debt?  Is that wise?

Do any of these sound viable, reasonable?

What if you could show them a new industry… an industry where they can change careers at any rate they want (on the side of what they’re doing or jumping right in)…an industry they can invest money in themselves, become a product of a product already invented, built, warehoused, and shipped that’s not only legal but something everyone needs.  Imagine being aligned in an industry that has the best payment structure and advancement based on performance and hard work and not on who someone knows…an industry that will help them eliminate credit cards and grow wealth instead of growing debt and give them time to do the things they’ve always dreamed of doing!

This is an industry that gets people dreaming again.

Would you suggest that option to them?  Would you be their friend if you didn’t?

Can you relate to this? Do you have friends or have you yourself been out of work, voluntarily or involuntarily, or have you sat behind a desk/steering wheel/window/(etc) or stood with a shovel/mower/hammer/(etc) for days, weeks, months, or years thinking that there has to be something better? If only I could …… Take a chance! Fill in the form below and I’ll help show you the way.
