Aloe Vera Juice Benefits

Aloe Vera Juice Benefits benefits us in many ways. Of course, aloe vera juice is made from which is derived from the aloe vera plant. The quality and concentration of aloe vera products depends on the part of the leaf from which the product is made, the inner leaf being of higher quality and nutrition concentration.

Though not evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), many scientific studies regarding aloe vera juice have shown notable benefits to-date. As a result, aloe vera juice has become quite a popular way to easily address common dietary issues in an all-natural way.

From Digestive Detoxification

While aloe vera is more commonly known as a gel and for treating external issues such as skin burns, infections, and muscle and joint soreness, there are many more internal aloe vera juice benefits. When taken in 1 to 4 ounce doses, twice daily, many have found that it can contribute not just to a person’s general good health. In fact, naturally containing vitamin B, vitamin C, and many , aloe vera juice is known to help detoxify the body as well as minimize the severity of various digestive issues.

This is because aloe vera juice can flush digestive and intestine tract toxins and reduce hostile bacterias. Aloe vera juice also helps lower the of stomach cramps, poor bowel movements, and various issues such as constipation or diarrhea. Aloe vera juice benefits people with chronic intestinal or stomach problems and can aid in the healing of ulcers and help the digestive tract to generally work more smoothly.

Aloe Vera Juice Benefits From Blood Stream Detoxification

The detoxification properties of the aloe vera juice also work to detoxify the blood stream. Blood circulation in your body can even also be improved, due to capillary dilation and improved cell growth, when aloe vera juice is consumed frequently. Given severe blood circulation issues, possibly a result of diabetes or similar conditions, aloe vera juice can be very effective as a blood detox product, enabling the bloodstream to transfer a larger amount of essential nutrients throughout the body.

Having similar antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties as aloe vera gel, aloe vera juice benefits include helping to prevent illness. The overall effect of taking aloe vera juice regularly can be long term energy and health.

Are Aloe Vera Juice Benefits Enough?

Aloe vera juice is safe enough to consume daily. As a simple 1 to 4 ounce serving, twice daily, aloe vera juice benefits the body in many ways. As such, if your health is important to you – whether you are trying to attain better health or maintain good health, it is certainly worth the small cost for long term health.

To be fair, I’ve done more extensive research on this than many and have partnered with many doctors in support of the aloe vera product that I use. This aloe vera juice product, however, is much more than just aloe vera, or any other one-juice-wonder, for that matter.

Though it has an inner-core aloe vera juice base, it also contains, as determined through extensive scientific research, powerful antioxidants like bilberry, blueberry, and raspberry, which help protect your body from free radicals and support cardiovascular and brain health. Plus, it includes a proprietary alfalfa juice concentrate with a blend of trace minerals, which support other body functions.

Not a “cleanse” that depletes your body with laxatives or diuretics, this aloe vera juice benefits your body by nourishing the liver and promoting a cleanse of the entire body on a cellular level by giving it the nutrition it needs to cleanse itself naturally. It’s designed to feed and nourish your body, helps protect your body from the cumulative damage of environmental toxins and oxidative stress by using antioxidant botanicals, vitamins and minerals—giving you the nutrients you need to live each day to the fullest. Deep and daily cleansing supports your mental and physical performance, resistance to stress and digestive health.

What are Amino Acids?

What Are Amino AcidsWhat are and what is their role as non-toxic components that assist in addressing mental balance without ? Before we can answer that question, let’s understand the mainstream picture of neurochemical imbalance today.

In the era of TV advertising for medications we often see of the miraculous ability to solve many of life’s difficulties by taking the newest pill on the market. We see the depressed person suddenly happy and productive. We see the insomniac sleep like a baby. And generally we are given the feeling that simply popping that newest medication will allow us to be our real selves, productive, and overall greatly improved in our lives.

Certainly reality may not be as simple as the commercials portray. There are side effects from these medications, and their effectiveness may not be as rosy as hoped for. We are told that the sleep medications are not addicting, but then for some reason are advised to take them just for short periods of time. Often the reality is that the patient returns to the doctor asking for another prescription again, and again, and cannot sleep without the “little pill”. When patients who have been on antidepressant or anti-anxiety medication for a period of time, try to get off of the medication they have side effects. The side effects may simply be a function of the medication being withdrawn, but that is often interpreted by both the patient and the doctor as evidence that the patient still needs to take the medication. Thus, the patient does not get off the medication. Often when the results are not what are hoped for the next step is prescribing a higher dose of the medication or a second medication to take along with the first one. Of course the of side effects increases with higher doses or multiple medications. For those who wish to avoid these scenarios it is important to understand that there are nutrients and other non toxic treatments which may be able to accomplish what one is looking for in terms of feeling better without risking side effects or dependencies.

?

What are Amino Acids? Amino Acids are the building blocks for proteins, hormones and neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters are naturally occurring substances, which are secreted between brain cells and are needed for sending information through the brain and nervous system. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter. The major antidepressant medications were developed to enhance the amount of serotonin between the neurons (brain cells) to relieve the symptoms of depression/anxiety. An important problem found with the use of these medications is that over time the natural level of neurotransmitters may diminish and the original dose of the medication is found to stop working as well. As a result the patient either gets a higher dose or a second medication, or because of side effects the physician may resort to trying another medication. Patients are told that the problem is their depression. If the true underlying problem is a depletion of neurotransmitters by their medication, that should be the problem which is addressed. The amino acid 5-Hydroxytryptophan is converted to serotonin. L-Cysteine and L-tryosine are amino acids, which are converted into the neurotransmitters, known as catecholamines. By using these amino acids with the help of other nutrients patients can be treated without medication.

What are Amino Acids through numerous studies…

Information taken from numerous studies and a database of thousands of people further explains what are amino acids and supports the view that the proper amino acids will treat not only depression/anxiety states but many other conditions as well. This mind body connection may show itself to be helpful for headaches, PMS, irritable bowel and other stress related issues. 5-Hydroxtryptophan (5-HTP) taken with L-Cysteine and L-tyrosine as well as the Amino Acid GABA and other nutrients, allows many patients to get off anti-depressants or avoid them altogether. Vitamins B6, C, Calcium, Magnesium, are accessory factors working with these amino acids for optimal neurochemical balance.. One piece of good news is that these nutrients can be taken while taking medications. A patient does not have to choose between taking their medication and trying the nutrient program. We observe the response to the nutrients while medication is still being taken, and then withdrawing the medication slowly as the patient improves.

CoQ10 Benefits

It seems that every time that I do some research in the health and wellness industry news, I see or hear something about CoQ10 benefits and how it should be included as part of a healthy diet. As it turns out, CoQ10 is the third-most sold dietary ingredient in the United States, after omega-3 and multivitamins. Though I only started to really hear about it over the past five or six years, research on CoQ10 benefits has been going on for over 60 years, when it was first discovered. Today, more than ever, it is one of the hottest topics in the health and wellness sector. Why? It is an to our health because it has a long — and growing — list of benefits to the human body.

The Technology of CoQ10

CoQ10 is an enzyme, technically called , which plays a critical part in the bio-synthesis process of the human body, the process that converts vitamins and trace elements into energy. It is a vitamin-like substance that is found in the mitochondria of a cell. Mitochondria are essentially the power plants found within the cells of our body from which we derive our energy. These wonderful organelles, or sub-units of a cell, are the primary source of the cellular supply of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the source of 95% of the energy in the human body. The highest concentrations of CoQ10 are found in the organs within our bodies that require the most amount of energy – the heart, liver and kidneys. Clearly, these organs are essential to our existence and, as such, their health is vital for optimum over-all health, so the CoQ10 benefits are immeasurable, as compared to being without it.

CoQ10 is a that is not water soluble. Therefore, it is usually packaged in a gel-type capsule suspended in oil to aid in the uptake. Since it requires the acids found in the excretions of our bile producing organs, the liver and the pancreas, which are stimulated when food is introduced into the body, the CoQ10 benefits are best realized when taken at mealtime. There is, however, ongoing research with unique forms of CoQ10 in combination with other substances, such as hydrogenated lecithin and cyclodextrins, neither of which are very desirable for introduction into the human body, but they have been shown to make the absorption of CoQ10 more effective.

CoQ10 Benefits in the Human Body

The list of potential CoQ10 benefits is long, which is why it has become one of the most important ingredients recommended by nutritionists and doctors in the last decade. First of all, it is because of the benefit that CoQ10 has on the most important organ in our body — the heart. Heart health, and that of the entire cardiovascular system, is of the greatest importance to our overall health and longevity. Heart disease and heart failure are the leading causes of death, accounting for over 25% of the deaths in the United States alone. In many of these cases, low levels of CoQ10 were detected. Since the heart is the primary consumer of energy in the body, it is also the organ where CoQ10 is most needed.

A point to note, since CoQ10 is very similar to cholesterol in many ways, the use of statins to lower the cholesterol level in our blood to help prevent heart disease, also tends to lower the level of CoQ10. This is a very important reason for including it as a dietary supplement when using this type of .

Other CoQ10 benefits have been researched, such as relief from migraine headaches, lowering of blood pressure and help for relief for post-cancer treatments, especially radiation treatments. There are even CoQ10 benefits with regards to periodontal disease. In fact, CoQ10 recently has been proven to increase gum health and prevent gum deterioration. In addition, significant results in the slowing down of the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, upward of 44% with patients using 1200 mg/day, have been documented in numerous studies.

One very interesting point about CoQ10 is that there are two main factors that contribute to the reduction of this essential component in the body: aging — anyone older than 20 years will show lowered levels of CoQ10, and exposure to UV radiation — something that, for example, highly active outdoor oriented athletes experience. This is why you will see CoQ10 on the labels of many of the sun blocking creams and lotions available on the market today.

CoQ10 Benefits in Our Diet

It is more and more evident that CoQ10 is one of the most essential parts of our diet. This is why we are hearing our doctors recommending it more frequently. The more we learn about it, the more we find out how important it is to our health, and ultimately, our longevity. By feeding our bodies a steady low dosage of CoQ10 in concert with healthy sources of polyunsaturated fats, we can ensure that we live a long and health life, and potentially stop the effects of aging.

Chocolate Nutrition

Lately, I have been studying chocolate nutrition and let me tell you — chocolate, mmm-mmm! — just saying the word itself sets my mouth to watering! There is something so soothing and comforting about chocolate melting in my mouth and sliding across my tongue. Do I feel guilty when I eat it? Not at all! I don’t binge on it, but I don’t deny myself one of the greatest pleasures in life either. But there’s more to it than that. Being the scientist and researcher that I am, I decided to discover if chocolate could actually be good for me. We all know that an average chocolate bar contains sugar and fat. Yet, at the same time, we hear that there are in chocolate that are considered beneficial. So what is it about chocolate nutrition?

Studying Chocolate Nutrition

Chocolate nutrition almost sounds like a dichotomy. How can something that has sugar and fat, and tastes so good, actually be good for us? Well, first of all, chocolate comes from a plant. The great thing about this is that fats derived from plants do not contribute to a rise in our blood level of cholesterol. So, unless milk is added, there is no cholesterol in chocolate! This is a big plus right off the bat.

Second, chocolate is full of antioxidants. According to AllChocolate.com,

Dark chocolate and cocoa contain high levels of cell-protecting . Two tablespoons of natural cocoa have more than four cups of green tea, one cup of blueberries and one and half glasses of red wine.

Chocolate Nutrition and Free Radicals

Fighting

When I think about free radicals I can’t help but picture loud, long-haired, hippie types shouting about something that we all need to change, but in this case, free radicals, which occur naturally, are unstable oxygen molecules that can disrupt cellular activity in our body. Therefore, reducing free radicals is a good thing, maybe in both cases. The ability of a food source to reduce these elements is called the ORAC value, the Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. Dark chocolate is second only to dark plums in its ORAC level, due to the density of the antioxidant compounds in the cocoa bean itself.

So, what about the fat found in chocolate? What are the chocolate nutrition facts about that? It is the fats in our food that can contribute to the rise of our cholesterol, but not all fats are the same. We have been hearing a lot lately about saturated versus unsaturated fats. Cocoa butter, the source of the fat in chocolate, is high in the mono- and poly-unsaturated fats, which are the kind of fats that do not change the level of cholesterol in our blood. Also, the saturated fat found in cocoa butter is mainly made up of stearic acid, which is converted to unsaturated fat in our bodies and does not contribute to a rise in cholesterol. Therefore, cocoa butter is a wonderful source of the fat that our bodies need to be healthy and not the other way around. Of course, if you add milk, then you are adding animal fat, which contains all of the kinds of fat that we need to limit or eliminate from our diets, depending upon our overall health.

Another benefit found in chocolate nutrition is the mineral complex that it delivers to the human body. This food was truly devinely designed to be a great delight for us all. Turning to AllChocolate.com once again we can see that

Chocolate and cocoa naturally contain copper, magnesium and potassium, which are vital for good health. One average dark chocolate bar provides nearly 12 percent of your daily requirement for magnesium, which may be important for people at risk of several chronic illnesses such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

If I ever needed an argument for adding chocolate to my diet, which I don’t, this would be a great persuader to get me to try it.

While people who love sweets tend to go for the milk chocolate or highly sweetened choices, which may taste great, they do add a lot of sugar to the diet. Sugar is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s just that virtually everything we consume these days contains one or more of the different forms of sugar. The only way to really know is to bone up on what the different sugars are called, such as sucrose, dextrose, lactose, glucose, etc., and to read the labels, thus trying to keep our sugar intake to a reasonable level. Being one in the crowd that is addicted to sugar, I have to watch what I eat carefully. I can tell when I am getting too much of a sugar rush, or a lack of sugar which may be causing my blood sugar level to plummet, neither situation being a good thing.

Chocolate Nutrition Goes Beyond The Physical

Chocolate is one of the greatest feel-good foods on the planet. It is well known that chocolate helps the brain to release endorphins, which are our bodies’ natural relaxants and mood enhancers. Once you dive into the chocolate nutrition and its value to our overall health you can understand just how great a food it is. I recently discovered a chocolate bar that takes it all to a new level. It is from a company called Isagenix International and is called the IsaDelight. This little piece of heaven is a dark chocolate that is fortified with members of the vitamin B family, so you not only get all of the pros of chocolate, but you get the boost of the B complex to help cut the appetite and give you energy. The latest formulation now has green tea extract added to it to raise the ORAC value even higher. Now, it turns out that chocolate has also become one of the items in my diet that is helping me to stop craving other sweets and promoting weight maintenance, great health and energy. You have to love that!

The Benefits of a Nutritional Cleanse

Nutritional CleanseThere has been a lot of chatter about internal human body cleansing, including the , popping up around the Internet these days. It is probably because more and more people are waking up to the fact that the foods that we eat, the air that we breathe, the water that we drink, and the products that we use in our daily lives are all filled with man-made . We take the time to bathe and wash our skin and hair (using soaps containing chemicals), we brush our teeth (saccharine), and generally clean ourselves on the outside, but what about the inside? This is a very good question! Let’s examine…

Why You Should Consider A Nutritional Cleanse

Most cleanses are targeted to one or another organ or system in the body. Many require unusual breaks from normal habits and most require planting yourself near a bathroom for a day or two, what I refer to as the bathroom side effect as many so-called colon cleanse systems tend to, well, you know. Once the cleanse is done you may feel great, but you go right back to the normal intake of toxic substances and foreign particles. It’s almost unavoidable. So how often do you need to do these, and do so without depleting you body?

Did you know that our bodies, being the miracle machines that they are, manufacture fat cells to surround these particles to protect us from their toxic effects? This is why fat cells are not necessarily the enemy here, but the toxic are. Chemicals, metals, benzene, propylene glycol, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrite, aspartame, and so many more invaders enter our systems daily. Have you read the labels of your food and household items lately, or are you just plain afraid to?

Many of these substances take the place of the nutrients that our bodies need and we literally starve ourselves in many ways unknown to us, even when we are eating wholesome and . And we have been exposed to this garbage for decades in most cases.

The Benefits of a Nutritional Cleanse

A nutritional cleanse, however, is a wonderful approach to bringing your body back up to total health without the bathroom side effect. A nutritional cleanse is done at a cellular level, gently and with all-natural ingredients, so that the body can flush itself of these toxins and allow the “good stuff” to be absorbed back into the system.

There are wholesome, organic substances found all over the Earth that naturally attach themselves to foreign invaders and convey them down to the liver and kidneys for release from the body. Things like aloe, alfalfa, ginger, burdock, and many other roots, plants, minerals and trace elements are known for their cleansing effects on the human body. A nutritional cleanse combines the best of these in a balanced, easy-to-use system without the “bathroom side effect” downside.

It is no secret that our foods no longer hold the nutritional value that they did fifty years ago. A bag of spinach today is equivalent to around 20 bags of spinach from before our modern farming methods have basically stripped the nutrients out of the soil, and therefore out of the plants. With the pesticides and fertilizers that are used in today’s mass farming methods, and the hormones and steroids injected into our livestock and poultry, it is hard to eat well, avoid the nastys, and deliver the nutrition to where we need it.

However, once the body has been cleansed of the heavy metals, chemicals, poisons and other trace elemental invaders, it can open up and absorb the building blocks of our cells and begin down a path of miraculous recovery. It is beyond comprehension to most people what the potential of the human body for self-healing is. Many will refer to the effects as a miracle, but that is exactly what the human body is…a miracle machine. In many cases, given the right nutrition and the removal of roadblocks, fat can melt away, energy of our youth can come flooding back, deep and restful sleep can return, allergies can clear up, and general aches and pains can simply go away. Perhaps it is a miracle, but that is what we are all capable of when given a chance.

Do yourself a favor and look into what a nutritional cleanse can mean for you. Why wait? What have you to lose…except maybe a bunch of life-altering toxins!
