Hi Drew,
It was great meeting you as well! I have a passion for life and I love meeting new people. It is better to touch base on Monday as I am out of town this weekend. I would love to meet next week and discuss all of the things we talked about on the boat in more detail.
I am also eager to help with fundraising for the Conn. Challenge!
Have a great weekend!
Talk soon:)
Best,

Hey Drew!
This is an interesting scenario. It certainly seems “D” Gentle and natural. And I think that’s how networking should be. “Hey, you seem interesting, like someone I’d like to know.” That’s it. Without that initial assessment, how are you going to find out if this person is someone you’d like to know?
Of course, you may find right from the start that you may not want to get to know the person. So be it. That’s cool too.
I hope this person was interesting! Care to share your experience?
